Fair & Demolition Derby

So normally I would have left right after camp, but God was working all the way. When I arranged my ticket, I thought that the 6th was Monday when it was really Tuesday. So I got to go do some extra stuff, plus get in on the last special service at church.
Sometime in the late morning on Monday the family I was staying with decided to go check out Abbotsford's fair. There was also to be a demolition derby, and I was pretty excited to see something like that because I had never seen one before. :P It was a really, really hot day. Being a fair-skinned person, I got a major sunburn from being in the straight sun for hours on end. It was worth it though! I not only got to do something fun, but my sunburn faded into a nice tan ( for me, anyway ). Score! :D hehehe
I got some really cool pictures of the demolition derby ( if I do say so myself :P ) and pictures of some of the animals and people I hung out with. :)

Youth Camp

I don't normally do stuff like this on a Sunday, but I am going to be busy tomorrow so I thought I'd make sure I got another post in before too much time passed. :) I am going to make it easy and post pictures from all the days of camp since I didn't take all that many post-worthy pictures anyway. :P I wish I had pictures from Friday when we did capture the flag, ( Well, everyone but me. No running allowed for Miss Wisdom Teeth Just Out. :D ) but I didn't want anything to accidentally happen to my camera and the weather was iffy as well. So I mostly have some scenery from camp, a little bit of what the grounds and buildings looked like, and volleyball pics. :) Even though I didn't participate very much in the activities, I was totally fine with that ( not a very sporty person anyway, lol ) and enjoyed watching everyone. I was blessed with many new friends or renewed friendships with girls I hadn't seen for a long time. Can't wait to go back. ;) So. Without further ado, Living Word Fellowship Youth Camp! ( Round of applause, ooo, ahhh, woooowwww! ) ( LOL!!! )

New Beginnings In Christ Jesus

This has been my theme title for my life since camp. The Lord did SO MUCH for me when I was up there, I am a totally different person. A new creation. I went with great expectation and received above and beyond when I could ever have desired. The devil tried to stop me every step of the way, but I still made it to camp and received from the Lord. Amen! What was special to me was that God did things in my life even after camp was over and I was at the church for service or off doing things with the young people.
Perhaps the biggest obstacle was what I had previously mentioned about getting my bottom two wisdom teeth out the day before I left for camp. My parents were not thrilled that I was going to be travelling by myself out of the states right after oral surgery. I had this great peace from God and such a strong pull that I was supposed to go, that I kept praying and praying for them to have that same peace and let me go. LONG story short, I obviously got to go. :) God is good. When I arrived ( after missing my bus in Seattle because they didn't announce it and waiting 3 hours for the next one and the bus driver missing the turn and heading onto the freeway right before my stop ) and rested, I woke up the next morning and one of my incisions began bleeding. That can be serious. So, I had prayer and did a few things to try and stop the bleeding and praise God, it stopped.
Those are the two major things and there were a few other things, but I won't go into further detail. I have lots and lots of pictures, and so I don't overwhelm everyone in one post, I will do it day by day. :) There aren't too many from my ride up that turned out, but I post a few today anyway. :)
